1st New Technologies for Urban Mobility workshop

April 14th - 17th 2020

Pucón, Chile

The Complex Engineering Systems Institute (ISCI) and the Engineering School of Universidad de Concepción invite authors to submit abstracts for the 1st New Technologies for Urban Mobility workshop.

Presentation

The ubiquity of technology has unlocked an enormous potential for urban mobility. Cities are shaped by the behavior of citizens who are connected through elements that can be updated literally every day. What was impossible a few years ago might become obsolete today.  Technology has opened questions, challenges, and opportunities for urban mobility that are worthy to explore for both ends: theoretical advances and applications.

In this event, we expect to hear the advances in research, to stimulate new ideas, and to promote collaboration between participants.

Structure and topics

The workshop aims to bring together the researchers, practitioners and tool developers working on topics related to:

  1. Public transportation of the future
  2. New methods for new data
  3. Home delivery and services
  4. Apps for mobility and travel
  5. Innovative transportation modes
  6. New tech for transportation planning and operations
  7. Information and communication technologies
